About

About Valley Roofers

Valley Roofers is an independent matching service for roofing work across the Fraser Valley and the rest of the Lower Mainland, BC. We're not a roofing company. We don't do the work, set prices or take payment for jobs.

Homeowners describe a roofing job once. We pass it to up to 3 vetted local roofing companies that cover their area and do that kind of work. Those companies pay us for matched requests, which is how the service stays free for homeowners.

We also publish free planning tools and guides: a roof replacement cost guide built from prices Lower Mainland roofers publish, a roofing permit checker based on each municipality's own rules, and guides written for the way roofs age in our climate. Every guide carries the date it was last reviewed, and cost and permit pages say where the numbers come from.

How we check roofing companies

Before joining, each company confirms a valid business licence, liability insurance and WorkSafeBC coverage. We review their past roofs and public reviews, and remove companies that receive repeated complaints.
